It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel E Gowan of Hot Springs, North Carolina, who passed away on October 25, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Claud Gowan, Sr.; her parents, Lee Bumgarner and Alice Gregg Bumgarner; and her siblings, Myrtle Roberts, YJ, Wallace, Emit, Lester, Ferman, Orville and Paul Bumgarner.
She is survived by: her son Claud Gowan, Jr. (Kay) of Rutledge; her grandsons, Dr. Matt Gowan (Jennifer) of Rutledge and Adam Gowan (Megan) of Madison; and her great grandchildren, Robert Gowan, William Gowan, Aidan Gowan, Olivia Gowan and Audrey Gowan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
