He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Suttles and Novella Suttles; his sister Ethel Suttles; his granddaughter Haily Self Caldwell; and his siblings-in-law, Neal Ensley of Bill Ensley, J. D, Lucille Banks and Anna Mae Banks.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Suttles; his daughter Miranda Self (Troy); his grandsons, Troy, III and Caleb Self (Marissa Cantrell); his grandson-in-law Caney Caldwell; his great grandchild Nathan Scott Caldwell; his siblings, Coy Suttles (Patsy), Kathleen McPeters, Freida Combs (Bobby), Barbara Wrenn (Jimmy), Wanda Worley (Jerry), Eva Roper (James) and Bobby Suttles (Tonya); his siblings-in-law, Betty Moore, Evelyn Moore, Fran Wills, Carolyn Ensley and R. L. Stokely (Lora); and his uncle Buford Messer (Toy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
In recognition of the ongoing pandemic, face coverings and social distancing are encouraged for those in attendance.
