He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Arnold, Lucy Garrett, Kenneth Brown and Edith Sullivan; and his father-in-law Bill Plemmons.
He is survived by: his parents, David Garrett and Ida Garrett; his wife Paula Plemmons Garrett; his children, Tyler Keith Garrett and Tiffany Hannah Garrett; his brother Jason Garrett (Audreanna); his niece Brittany Whitson (David); his nephews, Brandon Chandler, Ethan Garrett and David Rutherford; his great-niece Kinsley Whitson; his mother-in-law Carolyn Plemmons; his sister-in-law Billie Chandler (Alfred); and his niece Savannah Powers. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service (7626 NC-213, Mars Hill, NC 28754). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at the Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery (202 Fairview Loop, Hot Springs, NC 28743).
