He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie Faircloth and Mary Sessoms Faircloth; his sister Martha Faircloth; and his stepdaughter Geneva Horne. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Faircloth; his daughter Wendy Higgins of Hope Mills; and his stepchildren, Tonya Hammonds of Grays Creek and Lattie Horne of Linden. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
