Vivian Burnett Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian Burnett of Hope Mills, North Carolina, who passed away on April 4, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillie Fowler Wilkins and James'Jim' Wilkins; her husband Henry H. Burnett; her son Gattis L. Burnett; and her siblings, Vassar L. Wilkins, Cecil T. Wilkins, James Russell Wilkins and Louise W. Rosser.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Burnett (Beth) of Vander and Vivian Burnett Scott (Leon) of Hope Mills; her grandchildren, Henry Burnett of Eastover, Lane Burnett of Vander, Douglas Scott (Christene) of Charlotte and Shannon Scott Stegland (Garret) of Apex; and her great grandchildren, Amelia, Noah, Ethan Scott, Harper and Nora Stegland. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home (545 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM and at 3:00 PM.
