Freeman, Jr.; her children, Jermaine Orelle Brown and Shawnte Monique Brown; her adoptive daughter Morgan E'Liya Brown; her parents, Hattie Ree Newkirk and Eddie Thomas Brown; and her siblings, Janice Williams, Michael Simmons, Charlene White, James "PeeWee" Newkirk, Sheryl Newkirk and Curtis "Sherman" Newkirk. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
