He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles John and Carolyn Williams John. He is survived by: his wife Kelly John; his children, Evan John, Lawrence John, Ann Marie Bishop (Michael), Wayne Chandler III (Sera) and Matthew Chandler; his grandchildren, Gabriel John, Aubrey Noelle Bishop and Madalyn Ruth Bishop; his siblings, Yvette Sutherland and Brian Timothy John; and his pet Rocky. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pinecrest Funeral & Cremation Services (4721 Dunrobin Dr, Hope Mills, NC 28348). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org.
