She was predeceased by: her parents, Turner Gardner and Retha Frances Smith Gardner; her husband Harvey Elmore; and her sister Virginia Gardner. She is survived by: her daughters, Lynne Frazier and Ann Hughes; her grandsons, Christopher Frazier (Bethany) and Joshua Hughes; and her siblings, Gaynelle Holder, Alfred Gardner and Norfleet Gardner (Barbara).
