He was predeceased by: his father Charles Massengill; and his siblings, Clifford Massengill, Bonnie Mays and Michelle Wallace. He is survived by: his wife Betsy; his children, Gail McDonald and Linda Raynor; his mother Jackie Morrison; his siblings, Brenda Villarreal (Jerome) and Jeff Massengill (Tammy); his grandchildren, Charlie Finnegan (Hallie), Brittany Herron (Matt) and Haley Wheeler (KD); his great grandchild Ryder Trinemeyer; and his aunt Sandy Barton. He is also survived by 66 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Hillside Baptist Church, 3807 Legion Road, Hope Mills, NC.
