He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Willis and Maudie Mae Bartee Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Hughes; and his brothers, Lloyd C. Hughes and Dennis A. Hughes. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews; 9 great nieces and nephews; 2 great great nephews; and many other family and friends.
