It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice Jennings Jr. of Hope Mills, North Carolina, born in McCormick, South Carolina, who passed away on July 25, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Jennings, Sr. and Jannie Wright-Jennings; and his siblings, Barbara Jennings, Edward Jennings and Donald Jennings.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his children, Karen Woodard, Marcus Jennings and Emmnuel Jennings; and his siblings, Charles Jennings, Melvin Jennings, Daisy Bowers, Christine Jennings, Rosalie Bynum, Rose Thurston and Mauritta Jennings. He is also survived by five brothers and five sisters, then later he gained a stepsister.
