He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Allender, Sr. and Mary Allender; and his brother Lonnie Allender. He is survived by: his son Bruce Woolard (Sabrina); his grandson Wyatt Woolard; and his sister Leala Cliburn of Mississippi. He is also survived by several nieces and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in honor of Bucky be made to the NC Fallen Firefighters Foundation or to the American Cancer Society.
