With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Luther Johnson of Hope Mills, North Carolina, who passed away on January 4, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther William Johnson and Bernice Quick Johnson of Fayetteville; and his sister Betty Jean Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Letchford Johnson of Hope Mills; his children, Luther Johnson of New York, Johnnie (Michelle Johnson) of Hope Mills, Russell Johnson of Hope Mills, Max Johnson of Hope Mills and Ashley Johnson (Kevin Edwards) of Indiana; his grandchildren, Abigail, Daylah Johnson, Gannon Johnson, Ethan, Hailey, Gracie Johnson, Trinity, Chasity Johnson and Cora Jean Edwards; and his sister Janie Smith of Cedar Creek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
