He was predeceased by: his parents, Iula Horne Faircloth and Brance Faircloth; and his brother A. B. Faircloth, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Betty Smith Faircloth; his stepchildren, DeWayne Blackwell (DeAnn) of Nashville, TN, Sharon Bennett (Terry) of Hope Mills, NC and Mary Anne Girdwood (Jeff) of Charlotte, NC; and his siblings, Ottis Ray Faircloth (Linda) of Parkton, NC and Dorothy Mae Baker (Bob) of Fayetteville, NC. He is also survived by his 5 granchilden, 6 great grandchildren, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
