She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Morgan and Loretta Delise Newman. She is survived by: her husband John Joseph Bender; her children, Michael Bender (Archana), Nelson Bender (Shalottie) and Patricia Sanders (Charles); her grandchildren, Aria Bender, Lidia Acosta and Dana Wooten; and her brothers, Joseph Newman (Laura), Jerry Newman (Georgia) and Danny Newman (Jennifer).
