It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Thompson (Hope Mills, North Carolina), who passed away on February 16, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Dwight Thompson; her children, Dontrell Thompson (Marquita) and DeAren Thompson (D. J.); and her siblings, Eugene Washington (Naomi), Orlando Washington (Nancy) and Sheila Ferguson (Maynard). She was also cherished by two grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
