He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Pearl Grant and Herbert Cooke; his wife Yvonne Cooke; his daughters, Casey Cooke and Laura Cooke; his stepdaughters, Mary Jo Canady and Audra Bramble; his son Johnny Cooke, Jr.; his grandson Kendrick Cooke; his stepgrandsons, Griffin Canady and Benjamin Canady; and his siblings, Sharon Cooke, Lou Huyck, Kay King, Teresa McLean, Michael Grant, Sam Cooke and Jimmy Cooke. He was also cherished by 2 great grandchildren.
