We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2020, at the age of 78, John McLean Jr. of Hope Mills, North Carolina, born in Cumberland, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Benjamin and Elizabeth Swain McLean, Sr.; his brother James McLean; and his grandson Benjamin Kline. He is survived by: his wife Esther McLean; his daughters, Rebecca McLean Futrell (Stanley) and Wanda Gail McLean Kline (Paul); his grandchildren, William Futrell (Elizabeth), Amanda Futrell, Joshua Kline and Caleb Kline; and his great grandchild Jackie Anne Futrell.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, in lieu of flowers.
