He is survived by: his wife Carolyn McLeod; his children, Sandra McIntyre (Lionel), George Evans Jr. (Candy), Douglas Freeman and Quashawn McGeachy-McPhaul; his mother Elizabeth "Lizzie" McLeod; and his siblings, Benjamin McLeod (Cynthia), Kenneth McLeod and Joann Johnson (Don). He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
