With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jay Bethea of Hope Mills, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Bethea and Pearl Bethea. He is survived by: his significant other Molly; his daughter Jaye Lynn Britt; his grandson Brandon Britt (Brie) of Wilmington, NC; his great grandchildren, Emmersyn and Finley; his pet Milo; his sister Diane Bethea Classen (James); and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Gordon and Sabrina Aaron.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service (610 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
