He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Ambrose and Martha Trokey King; and his wife Gray King. He is survived by: his children, David Smith, Donna Davis, James W. King, Kimberly Honan, Franklin Baker, III and Nichole McArthur. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Pinecrest Funeral & Cremation Services (4721 Dunrobin Dr, Hope Mills, NC 28348). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at the Lafayette Memorial Park West (6701 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28304).
