He is survived by: his sons, Jacob Ammons of Fayetteville and Ethan Wayne Ammons; his adoptive mother Patsy Maynard Lowery of Hope Mills; his siblings, Jeremiah Eyvn Lowery of Hope Mills, Mary Martha Lowery of Hope Mills, Rebecca Sue Lowery of Hope Mills, Bobbi Leah Lowery of Hope Mills and Anna Grace Martinez of Raeford; and his former wife Lila Townsend of Virginia.
