It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Floyd Foster Sweat of Hope Mills, North Carolina, born in Marion, South Carolina, who passed away on February 12, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Sweat and Menary Yarborough Sweat; his wife Mae Lillian Sweat; and his siblings, Edward Sweat, Carlis Sweat and Beatrice Sweat.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Sweat (Donna Morris) of Dundee, OR, Betsy Sweat of Hong Kong and Michael Sweat (Rita) of Newburyport, MA; his grandchildren, Amanda Armillay (Jim) of Manchester, NH and Brendan Chen of New York, NY; and his great grandchild Beckett Armillay. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
