She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Lee Smalley and Oliver Andrew Smith; her husband James Simmons; her daughter Connie Lynn; and her siblings, Joeseph Smith, Jimmy Smith, Donald Smith, Kaye Smith, Bonnie Tolbert, Dottie Calway, Denise White and Lee Hoggard.
She is survived by: her children, David Smith of Enterprise Al, Micheal Smith of Hope Mills, NC and Douglas Folsom (Donna) of Fayetteville, NC; and her brothers, Ray Smith and Albert Smith. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren and many other extended family members and friends.
