He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Franklin; and his children, Keith Franklin of Matthews, Jennifer Mott (Charlies) of Fayetteville, Charlene Franklin (Kelvin Winston) of Missouri and David J. Franklin. He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
