She was predeceased by: her parents, Kirkland Jones (Bert) and Mattie Brown Jones; her husband Alfred N. Brafford; her brother Dwayne K. Jones (Ada); her nephew Hal Jones; and her son-in-law Joe Pat Tolson.
She is survived by: her niece Cindy Jones Eaker (Mark) of Kings Mountain, NC; her cousins, Peggy Carter (Franklin) of Hope Mills, NC, Edna Moore of Fayetteville, NC and Kathy Hains (Chris) of Clayton, NC.; and her close friend Valencia Williams.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in the memory of Edith Jones Brafford to Hope Mills United Methodist Church, 4955 Legion Road, Hope Mills, NC 28348.
