He was predeceased by: his father Joe Stanley. He is survived by: his mother Mary Stanley of Little River, SC; his wife Sharon Stanley of Hope Mills, NC; his daughters, Erin and Lauren Stanley; and his sister Daphne Gordon (Eric) of Belmont, NC. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and his lifelong friends.
