She was predeceased by: her parents, David Kane and Edna Marie Kane (Jude); and her brother David Kane. She is survived by: her husband Frank Smith of Hope Mills; her children, Elizabeth Stephens (Chris) of Stedman and Frank Smith, Jr. of Stedman; her grandchildren, Christine Montgomery (Branden), Theresa Stephens (Dewayne), Jessica Lawson (Jay) and Christopher Stephens; her sisters, Linda Morrison (Lenny) of Hope Mills and Maryann Bonifant (Bruce) of Concord; her nephew Scott; and her niece Candace Bonifant. She is also survived by 5 great-granddaughters.
