With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Ray Hammonds of Hope Mills, North Carolina, who passed away on August 18, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Hammonds and Maggie Johnson Hammonds; and his siblings, Tom Hammonds, Elmer Hammonds, Alice Parnell and Margie Hammonds.
He is survived by: his wife Karabeth Hammonds; his son Paul Kelley (Kimberly) of Hope Mills; his grandchildren, Courtney Savo (Ray), Steven Kelley (Taylor), Kayla Kelley and Arlie Kelley; his great grandchildren, Riley Savo, Arya Savo and Korbin Ray Kelley; and his siblings, Delmer Gary Hammonds (Monnie) of Bladenboro, Elizabeth Holmes of Lumberton, Vencie Hickman of Hope Mills and Joyce Pait (Will) of Southern Pines.
