It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Exley of Hope Mills, North Carolina, born in Whiteville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 18, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Malcolm Lawrence and Oline Hayes Baxley. She is survived by: her husband Fred Exley; her children, Michelle Exley and T. J. Exley; her grandchildren, Lilly Exley and Braylon Exley; and her sisters, Linda Frender (Richard), Alice Nichols (David) and Kay Yepez (Ascencion). She is also survived by other family members and friends.
