She was predeceased by: her parents, Crosby Melvin and Annie Sessoms Melvin; her husband Mackey J. Bozeman; and her stepmother Wadis Melvin. She is survived by: her stepdaughter Louise McBryde; and her cousins, Joseph Melvin (Sheila), Brenda Melvin, Carla Huddler, Ira Melvin (Majorie), Agnes W. Birgett, Sam Melvin and Pat Williamson (Jimmy).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Peters Creek Baptist Church at 13176 Peters Creek Church Road, Roseboro, NC 28382.
