She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Elias and Mary Gay Hart; her husband Robert; her grandson Robert O'Neil Hill III; and her brother Dewey Wallace Hart.

She is survived by: her child Robert O'Neil Hill, Jr.; her wife Nina Markham Hill of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Raymond Gregg Hill Jr of Orlando, Cameron Gray Hill of Orlando, Andrew Gene Hill of Orlando, Lauren Hill Kelso, Brittany Hill Carter, Cortney Hill Stallings, Elizabeth Hill Hadley, Kimberly Hill of Wilmington, Caroline Hill Mooring of Kinston, Claire Elizabeth Hill of Kinston and Abigail Hill Means of Kinston; and also, Raymond Gregg Hill (Marsha Gray Hill) of Boynton Beach and Stephen Britt Hill (Holly Dennis Hill) of Kinston.
