Douglas Earl Artis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2025, at the age of 64, Douglas Earl Artis of Hookerton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Douglas shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Douglas farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his mother Helen Artis; his daughter Tiarre Dixon; and his siblings, Jerome Artis, Linda Artis, Carolyn Artis and Elaine Artis. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel (83 Circle Dr, Snow Hill, NC 28580).
