With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Agnes Downs (Hookerton, North Carolina), who passed away on February 17, 2019 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Bruce Stocks, Sr. and Margaret Chapman Daughety Stocks; and her brothers, Robert "Bobby" Bruce Stocks, Jr. and Clyde Daughety Stocks. She is survived by: her children, William Ashby Downs, III (Kellye) and Brenda Anne Clements (Andy); her grandchildren, William Jeremy Hedrick, William Steven Justin, Andrew Ray Clements, II, Joel Benjamin Chamberlain, Jacob Brendan Chamberlain, Jared Blake Chamberlain, Erin Ashley Hedrick, Kathryn Margaret Tomlinson and Katelin Ann Shepherd; her sisters-in-law, Dolores Stocks and Carrie Brill; her nephews, Robert Bruce Stocks, III, James Levay Stocks and Justin Ricky Stocks Brill; and her niece Jerilyn Stocks Anderson. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
