He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Wainright and Alice Wainright. He is survived by: his wife Denise Wainright; his children, Ashley, Ernesto Zarco, Jared Wainright, Allyson Wainright, Jeremy Wainright, Jakki Santella and Crystal Brunn; his siblings, Sharon (Steve Burkholder), Brenda (Joe Stott), Gail (Gary Gaskins) and Rachel (Bart Hussey); his nieces and nephews, Justin King, Anthony Gaskins, Todd, Janette Bronson, Cher, Justin Schulz, Cason, Jake Elliot and Carter Hussey; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Darian Young, Kamron Bronson, Logan Bronson, Harrison Schulz and Violet Schulz; his in-laws, Roy, Betty Sutherland, Marie Austin and Michael Sutherland; and his pets, Parent, Cocoa, Daisy and Nugget.

Viewing was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Trice Funeral Home Chapel (127 N West St, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
