It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Joseph Meaney of Holly Springs, North Carolina, born in Salem, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 5, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Meaney and Katherine M. Meaney (Morris); and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis T. Meaney (Levesque); his sons, John (Catherine) of Charlottesville, VA and Scott (Tamara) of Holly Springs, NC; and his grandchildren, Rebecca, Jack, Grace, Colin, Abigail and Emma. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Peter's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place.
