She was predeceased by: her sister Belle Durnat; and her husband Joseph L. Macon. She is survived by: her friend Joe Macon; her children, Jerry Macon of Newport, NC, Steve Macon (Francine) of Holly Springs, NC and Anne Macon Brannon (Ray) of Atlanta, GA; her sister Jean Goodwin; and her pet Milo. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
As an option in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Piney Grove Baptist Church where she was recently honored with a 1 year perfect attendance certificate.
