It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lonnie Wood (Holly Springs, North Carolina), who passed away on October 29, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ed Wood, George Wood, Lee Wood, Tom Wood, Grace Cross and Sue Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Marie McLaurin Wood; his sister Francis Stephenson of Fuquay-Varina, NC; and his children, Lisa Wood (Gary) of Holly Springs, NC, Scott Wood (Vivian) of Holly Springs, NC and Karen Wood-Wagner (Walt Wagner) of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Piney Grove Baptist Church Building Fund.
