Laviece Cox Ward Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laviece Cox Ward of Holly Springs, North Carolina, who passed away on March 30, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Zach Davis Cox and Mary Gwin Oliver Cox of Mount Olive, NC.; her brother Zach Davis Cox, Jr.; and her brother-in-law Frank Williams. She is survived by: her son Richard J. Ward, Jr. (Dawn); her granddaughter Rachel Michelle Ward; her husband Paul D. McPeak; her siblings, Gwin Lee Cox, Elizabeth Ann Cox, Mary Wooten Smith (Baxter), James Oliver Cox (Ruthann Nelson) and John Needham Cox (Clare); and her siblings-in-law, Rosemary Bonin (John) and Harry McPeak (Jane). She is also survived by ten nieces and nephews.

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be donated to Spring Arbor Assisted Living Facility, Apex, North Carolina, Alzheimer's Association, or Transitions LifeCare of Raleigh, North Carolina.
