He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Beasley Francis; his brother George R. Francis, Jr. (Larry); and his parents, George R. Francis, Sr. and Katie Stephenson Francis. He is survived by: his son Johnny S. Francis; his sister Barbara Fisher (Jerry) of Fuquay-Varina; and his close friend Brenda Kay Taylor of Dunn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
