He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Petty and Helen Petty (Williams); and his sister Gayle Pfaff. He is survived by: his wife Donna (Hafner); his children, Laura (Charles Quinn), Tamara (John Meliti) and Jon Jr. (Theresa Banks); his grandchildren, Sara Quinn, Ryan, Matthew Meliti, Caiden, Taylor and Astraea Petty; and his brothers, Herbert David and Thomas.
