He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Mary Collins (Scott) and Jack Udell Collins; and his brother-in-law Arty Battle. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Collins (Battle); his children, Ryan (Natalie) and Amy; his pets, Millie, Josie and Theo; his sisters-in-law, Diane Battle and Patty Battle; and his nieces, Hannah and Alice Mutter.
With the pandemic, Joanne, Ryan, Natalie and Amy were able to spend quality time with Doug throughout his illness.
