Yates (Bessie) of Raleigh, NC, Roger Yates, Jonathan Yates of Pittsboro, NC and Carolyn Yates Evans of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Dr. Natalie Yates, Jonathan Yates, Justin Yates, Dr. Brandon Yates and Montrell Little; his son Shaun Harris; his godson Travis Thomas; his sisters-in-law, Anna Clyde Burt and Mary Taylor; and his close friend Claudia Prince. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and relatives and friends.
