He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia B. Twigg; and his parents, Willie Twigg and Annie Twigg. He is survived by: his son Dennis C. Twigg; his siblings, Lola T. Bailey and Ralph Twigg; his grandson Nathaniel Hicks; his great grandchild Isaiah Levin; and his children, Deborah Van Houten (Leonard Van Houten), David E. Twigg (Jane Twigg) and Darlene Hicks (Calvin Hicks).
