He was predeceased by: his mother Louetta Houston Wilt; and his stepsiblings, Ginger Allen and Deckery Parrish. He is survived by: his children, Chiara "Kia" Wilt (Drew) of Holly Ridge and Richard "Thomas" Wilt, Jr. of New Bern; his stepfather John Deckery Parrish of Holly Ridge; his siblings, David Townsend of Holly Ridge and Phyllis Hines of Fuquay Varina; his stepsister Becky Jones of Sneads Ferry; and his granddaughter Alison Louetta Wilt.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Folkstone Original Free Will Baptist church.
