He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard B Lane and Catherine Jordan; his grandmother Grace; his wife Vicky Simpson Lane; and his children, Joseph S. Lane Jr., Andrew S. Lane and Drew Lane Yount. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
