He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dennis B. Hewitt and Lorene Hobbs Hewitt; his sister Doris A. Millis; his wife Judith J. Hewitt; and his sons, Dennis Alan Hewitt of Holly Ridge and Christopher Wade Hewitt (Carmilea) of Belleview, Nebraska. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
