Herman Padgett Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 15, 2019, at the age of 90, Herman Padgett (Holly Ridge, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Smithson Padgett; his children, Menton Padgett (Pat) of Wilmington, Cynthia Powell (Joe) of Fayetteville and Debbie Sewell (Jeff) of Wilmington; and his sisters, Effie Lou Raynor of Holly Ridge and Vernell Rawls of Maple Hill. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Providence Baptist church, Holly Ridge, NC or to the Me Fine Foundation, 5100 US Hwy 70 E, Princeton, NC 27569 or to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Dr., Wilmington, NC 28401.
