It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eloise King Locklear (Holly Ridge, North Carolina), who passed away on March 6, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband T. H. Locklear; her sons, Tommy King and David King; her parents, Ira Coggins and Pearl Coggins; and her siblings, Elma Baker, Margaret Johnson, Helen Holt, Dorothy Fulford, James Coggins and Jerry Coggins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Cronkite (Bruce), Sylvia Friesen, Bonnie Seaborn-Hill (Jimmy) and Sharon Salley; and her daughter-in-law Frances King. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Harris Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 108 Harris Creek Road, Jacksonville, NC 28540 or Highland Baptist Church, 178 Shillings Bridge Road, Orangeburg SC 29118.
