Dorothy Gillis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Gillis of Holly Ridge, North Carolina, who passed away on August 26, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugo Younts and Nora Younts; her husband Edgar Gillis; and her sister Marjorie. She is survived by: her sister Martha Adkins of Hartford City, Indiana; her children, Dennis King (Cheryl) of Blacklick, Ohio, David King (Kim) of Holly Ridge, Philip King (Joann) of McConnelsville, Ohio and Rebecca Mitchell of Cartersville, Virginia; and her grandchildren, Matthew, Jonathan, Stephen King, Jessica Corpening, Gregory King, James Sheppard, Amber Hill, Benjamin King, Josh Watkins, Katie Mitchell and Andrew Mitchell. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
